About us

Katie Elliott
Katie has over 25 years' experience of learning design and facilitation, working with people of all ages in a wide range of corporate and community settings.

She has been described as a 'people artist' for her ability to create safe, welcoming spaces in which people feel able to connect, collaborate and think more deeply - both on and offline.
Her early career as a jazz musician and band leader probably helps. She loves nothing better than creating opportunities for people to pay close attention, explore, create and have fun together.
Alongside her informal training, she is certified in a variety of coaching methodologies. She is also a member of the development team at the Core Gift Institute in Seattle, an organisation dedicated to helping people find the unique contribution they want to make in the world.

An acclaimed speaker and presenter who has worked with the DO Lectures and BBC Radio, Katie has her own podcast: Adventures in Behaviour Change. She is also the creator of 'Amiko Cards' - a self-care reminder tool, which has been translated into 14 languages.
Frauke brings a wealth of HR strategy, organisational and people development experience from her work both as a consultant and within organisations including YouGov, Nordex, Mondi and Deutsche Telekom.

She specialises in leadership interventions and is currently developing our new programme for emerging leaders.
Frauke is a skilled coach and certified mediator, with a knack for creating warm and engaging spaces. Clients often say she makes them think better.

Her commitment to evidence-based work and interest in data-driven analyses, makes her the perfect person to oversee the research that underpins our work.

Frauke is known for a genuine, approachable style that makes collaborating with her a pleasure. She is also known for a hugely enthusiastic love of dogs.

Mark McCartney
Mark is a facilitator who works with leadership teams on the conversations that matter most. He helps teams slow down, notice what’s really happening, and address it directly, focusing on the challenges they face now rather than theory or techniques.

Earlier in his career, Mark spent more than a decade in international finance, including being part of the team that rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Alongside his facilitation work, he runs What Is a Good Life? - a long-term inquiry based on more than 300 in-depth conversations, which has inspired a corporate workshop, weekly podcast, and an upcoming book. He also developed Silent Conversations, a method using structured silence and reflective dialogue to support clearer thinking in complex environments.

Originally from Ireland, Mark now lives in Berlin with his German wife, daughter, and dog, and is known for saying hello to strangers.
